Where to Find the Best Ideas to Make Money

I'm about to show you a simple tactic you can use to improve anything you're doing online and then I'll give you an update on my journey to the number one spot on Google.

Where are the Best Ideas to Make Money?

Well, chances are they're right in front of you and you don't even know it. You see them every day and you might even fall prey to these ideas and make someone else money! So where are they hiding? If you want to find these elusive ideas then all you have to do is look to your competition or peers in your field. Yep, that's it!

What are some of the biggest names in your field or niche doing? Pick 5 people that you really admire and you see excelling in your field and watch what they're doing. What's the first person doing over and over again? Well, guess what? If they keep doing it and they are successful then chances are it's bringing them in money! So think about how you can use that in your business or on your sites too. And then move onto the next person and the next person and keep collecting ideas that seem to work for them.

If you find something that almost everyone is doing in your industry then you NEED to start doing it yourself! It's not copying, you're going to make it your own anyway, it's research if you draw ideas from all over the place. So find a few things that you see almost everyone doing and try your best to use them in your online ventures. Just be sure to add your own twist to it; insert your personality or combine it with another idea. Successful people are successful for a reason and they don't keep doing things that don't work over and over again. So find out what they are doing by watching them or even asking them and try to mold their ideas into your business or whatever you're doing online.

This is such a SIMPLE method but people overlook it so often. They prefer to say, "why them and not me?" instead of saying, "what are they doing that I'm not?" Or they just gripe about why they don't think so and so deserves the success they have. But the ladder to success is usually dangling right in front of you. You just have to grab onto one idea that works then look for the next rung of success to grab onto. You don't have to do it alone!

Now that you've got some ideas to make money brewing in your head, it's time for me to update you on the experiment that I outlined in my article titled "My Journey to the Top Search Engine Ranking on Google". I was curious how long it would take me to make it to that number one spot on Google and I plan on sharing all of my results with you.

But I had a hard time finding some more social bookmarking sites that allowed links from HubPages. Eventually I managed to find three more places to get links from though. I got a link from Wikio, but it seems like they wanted me to submit a site, not just a single page, so maybe it's a good idea to submit your profile instead? Then I posted a link on Gozoof, but I'm not sure if it submitted correctly or not because it didn't show up in my profile. And lastly I got a link from MyLinkVault which looks VERY plain on Internet Explorer 9, but has a more appealing look on Firefox.

And yeah, I still haven't made it into the top 10 pages on Google, but I'm still pressing on. But hey, I'm still sitting on page four in Yahoo's search engine results (#39) and I'm even on page four of Bing (#36). Both of those rankings dropped a little from yesterday, but it's nothing to complain too much about.

But of course there is still no AdSense cash coming in from that article since my ads only got 5 impressions. Why so little? Well, let's look at the traffic... only 11 hits! So that article really hasn't snagged enough attention just yet. Hopefully the title is appealing enough.

But HubPages still hasn't fixed the bugs in their system yet because the stats still only show HubPages as a traffic source. Right now, just barely over half of my traffic is coming from HubPages... I'm curious about where the rest is coming from?! And from what I can see, there are no keywords bringing me traffic, unless that's a bug too.

But I'm going to let that article marinade in the link juice for a few days before I hit you with another update.

The simple method I showed you above is proven to work because it's built on tactics that are bringing other people money and I've used this method myself. So look at the other people in your industry and borrow ideas to make money from them. Now you can stop envying people and thank them for their ideas once they bring you success too.
