CLA - Part 7 - Top 5 Supplements & Conclusion
79<< Part 6 - How Much Should I Take and When? <<
Now that you know a lot more about conjugate linoleic acid, you’re probably wondering where you can get some CLA supplements.
These supplements are going to vary in the amount of CLA they contain and their cost.
So let me show you the top 5 rated CLA supplements that will ensure that you get a good amount of CLA per serving.
Top 5 CLA Supplements
Pro Science CLA (EAS)
EAS is a supplement company that I use buy a lot of products from.
They’ve got some quality supplements but they’re on the higher end of things so you might end up paying a little more for their supplements.
You can get CLA from them in bottles containing 90 soft gels.
You’ll have to take 2 soft gels to get a serving, so you’re looking at 45 servings per bottle of EAS CLA.
Each serving will contain 1.5 grams of CLA, which is plenty of CLA for a single serving.
It appears that this supplement is now called Pro Science CLA, but it's still made by EAS and it looks like the best place to buy it is straight from them.
AST CLA 1000
AST is another popular supplement company with some quality products.
They’re still a little on the higher end of supplements but you can probably get CLA a little cheaper from AST than you can from EAS.
You can get CLA from AST in bottles containing 90 soft gels also.
You’ll have to take 3 soft gels to get a "serving" but you can get that 1000 mg from just 2 soft gels, so really you’re looking at 45 servings per bottle of AST CLA 1000.
Each (modified) serving will contain at least 1.5 grams of CLA from Clarinol, which is derived from safflower oil.
NOW CLA
NOW is a pretty common supplement company but CLA starts to get even more affordable with them.
You can get CLA from NOW in bottles containing either 90 or 180 soft gels.
You’ll still have to take 3 soft gels if you're going by their serving size, but again you can get your 1000 mg from just two soft gels, so you’re looking at either 45 or 90 servings per bottle of NOW CLA, depending on the size you choose.
Each serving will contain 1.6 grams of CLA, which is derived from safflower oil. This is more than enough CLA for a serving.
Olympian Labs CLA
CLA gets even more affordable when you get your supplements from Olympian Labs.
You can get CLA from them in bottles containing 210 soft gels.
The serving size is 3 soft gels again, but you can get all the CLA you need (per serving) from two soft gels, so you’re looking at 105 servings per bottle of Olympian Labs CLA.
Each serving will contain anywhere from 1.5 to 1.7 grams of CLA, which is derived from a safflower/sunflower oil concentrate. It varies because it’s an oil blend and sunflower oil contains less CLA.
MRM CLA 1250
When you get your CLA supplements from MRM you’re going to get one of the most affordable and highest rated CLA supplements.
You can get CLA from MRM in bottles containing either 90 or 180 soft gels.
The serving size is only 1 soft gel, which I love because who really enjoys swallowing 3 pills?
Each serving will contain 1 gram of CLA per serving, which is derived from safflower oil. This is the perfect serving size for CLA in my mind.

You really doing a great research and job here. Thank you for your information.
So out of those which do you consider number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5?
Hi! I have purchased the NOW brand CLA, which is 800 mg/serving. It's listed here as one of your preferred brands, but earlier in the article you stated brands that are 800 mg would only have 80% actual CLA and mentioned the importance of using CLA with a minimum of 1,000 mg/serving. I'd like to understand, how did the NOW brand make your "Top 5" list?
